 As we look toward 2025, it's clear that businesses need to adapt to several key market changes if they want to stay competitive. In a recent workshop celebrating the launch of my new brand, Strategic Ops Institute (SOI), I outlined three major shifts reshaping the way we approach operations. These changes inspired me to create SOI to help operational leaders step up and lead businesses through these evolving challenges.

1. AI is No Longer Optional

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has shifted from a competitive advantage to an absolute necessity. Businesses must fully embrace AI to stay efficient and competitive—it’s no longer just a nice-to-have. At SOI, I focus on helping operations leaders use AI to streamline processes, free up time, and take on more strategic responsibilities in their organizations.

2. The Rise of Fractional Leadership and Done-for-You Services

Fractional CMOs and marketing agencies are growing in popularity, helping businesses drive rapid growth. However, growth without strong operations leads to chaos. That’s why I created the CSOO (Chief Strategy & Operations Officer) certification—to train operational leaders to integrate marketing and operations seamlessly, so businesses can scale sustainably without sacrificing quality or efficiency.

3. Shift in Buying Behaviors

Customer buying cycles are getting longer, and business owners are more cautious with their investments. They want clear, measurable returns. I developed SOI to ensure that operational leaders can think strategically, align goals with client expectations, and help businesses deliver exceptional experiences that drive growth.

Why I Created the Strategic Ops Institute

I launched SOI to address these shifts and help businesses thrive in this new landscape.
